Want to work with us?
We’re a pretty great bunch, if we do say so ourselves.
Are you a software developer interested in teaching people to code? Get in touch, we’re always looking for great new trainers.
Salary: £18,000 – £22,000 (dependent on experience)
Come and join our team! We are looking for an admin superhero who’ll help keep our office under control. We’re seeking someone with great interpersonal skills and a passion for getting things organised. (Marie Kondo fans very welcome.)
Your role will be to handle the day to day running of our office and to be the first point of contact at the academy. This will include answering email and phone enquiries, processing student applications, handling business processes, organising events ranging from professional networking to parties, as well as managing the general running of our building, a beautiful Georgian townhouse.
This is a new position and there’s plenty of opportunity to carve your own path. We’re a growing company, and are looking for someone that will grow with us. We also have a flat structure – our team members work together to share the responsibilities that managers traditionally have.
- dealing with incoming calls and emails
- coordinating applications and processing new students
- meeting and greeting visitors
- organising and running events
- general office administration, including document management and dealing with post
- managing student and partner emails
- diary management, scheduling appointments and booked calls
- facilities assistance e.g. ensuring kitchen is kept well stocked and tidy
- ordering supplies and working to a budget
You’ll be looking for a role that you can make your own, with plenty of opportunity to gain new skills. You know your way around Google docs and Microsoft Office, and enjoy meeting new people and delivering great customer service.
You’ll have some experience in business admin and will be well organised, proactive, and able to multitask. You’ll be interested in finding ways to streamline processes. You’ll also have excellent interpersonal skills and a professional and friendly approach.
It’s also important that you hold the same values we do – transparency, collaboration, contribution and forward thinking. We’ve listed some key aspects of the role but we welcome hearing about what you might bring that would be a little different. If you live our values and are someone who wants to change a bit of the world for the better, then get in touch.
We’re a fast growing company who train people of all ages and backgrounds to code, teaching our students everything they need to know to land their first job as a junior software developer.
We were founded in 2015 to fill the need for more developers in the UK tech industry. Since then we’ve built a reputation for great quality, and now have students coming to us from all over the UK, and graduates working all over the world.
Our offices are based on beautiful Widcombe Crescent in Bath. It’s a 10 minute walk from the train station, with incredible views and a lovely garden. We’ve also got a break-out room with comfy sofas, board games and Mario Kart, and a lovely big kitchen with tea, coffee and fruit.
We pride ourselves on having created a fun and collaborative place to work with a strong sense of social purpose. You will be working alongside award winning trainers and mentors in a relaxed team of people who love what they do, with the freedom to craft the role as you see fit.
We’ll consider both full and part time applications.
You must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
